Ocean Swift has introduced Spectral Oscillator Toolkit, a curated collection of 732 loopable, seamless oscillator sources designed for modular rigs, granular synths, sampler-based instruments, and beyond.
They describe it as “a toolkit for building your own synths – treating WAV loops as raw oscillators to fuel sound design, layering, resynthesis, or cinematic composition.”
“We designed Spectral Toolkit Oscillators to expand the sonic capabilities of your favorite gear,” explains Product Developer Yaron Eshkar. “We love to use them, create them and create with them.”
The sounds are designed to be loaded into samplers, sample-based oscillators, granular engines, or modular systems—allowing you to treat each loop as a foundational oscillator or tonal source within your own synthesis and sound design workflows.
The Spectral Oscillator Toolkit is compatible with, but not limited to, the following samplers, synths, and modular systems that support loading and looping WAV files as oscillators or tonal layers:
- Ableton Live – Simpler / Sampler / Drum Rack / Wavetable
- Apple Logic Pro – Quick Sampler / EXS24 / Alchemy
- Bitwig Studio – Sampler, Polymer
- FL Studio – DirectWave / Sampler / Granulizer
- Steinberg – Halion
- Kilohearts Phase Plant
- Ocean Swift Kontakt instruments – Dystopia Diary / Porphyra Hybrid
- Native Instruments – Absynth / Kontakt
- Native Instruments – Maschine / Maschine+
- VCV Rack – Via samplers or granular modules
- UVI – Falcon
- Waldorf Blofeld / Quantum / Iridium
- Korg Wavestate
- Expert Sleepers Disting EX – Eurorack modules
Pricing and Availability:
Spectral Oscillator Toolkit is available now with an intro price of €25 through June 20 2025.

Not the same – these are long, detailed, evolving, modulated!

Wow, these are amazing. Easy plug-and-play into my Korg Wavestate. And they sound absolutely amazing. This developer is super underrated, which kinda surprises me, because they keep pumping out amazing stuff. Kinda hard to beat for the price
That is an excellent choice with these! We are going to purchase a Wavestate ourselves and make a video about using these samples there.
Quite an interesting project Faxi. Quite a cool source of playable samples – specially wen its all tuned into C note, and theres quite alot of content to dig into here, there are some very interesting sounds to explore. Well done.
Exactly, playability is the key (sta-ga-desh) 😀
Merely curious: Anyone attempted to load these up into a 1010music Lemondrop yet…?
Just had a look at the Lemondrop, should totally work well yep!
Love it, mate! Thank you!!
i came here for news about Taylor swift doing something in the ocean…wait what?
Which, could always be 🙂
What a great idea!
I hope you guys —the creators of my favorite modern synth, Porphyra— can turn this into a series with lots of variety.
Cheers!
Thanks for the Porphyra shoutout glad you’re enjoying it!
Wow! That sounds like an amazing collection of source oscillators!
Super cool stuff, I find them really nice for inspiration or for layering sounds, but I’m sure other people are using it in much more interesting ways!
Layering is a totally legit use case.
Loving it with Absynth as they show in the video, very creative.
If you own Absynth I assume you might also have Straylight/Ashlight/Pharlight from NI (also shown in the video), it is absurdly fun with those since they come already with lots of presets, and you can simply drag and drop the spectral osc samples on the interface to replace the sounds in the preset, and get creative new results.
